BenefitMall Announces David Taaffe as the Regional Vice President of California and National Head of Account Services

DALLAS– Jan. 19, 2017BenefitMall, the leading provider of employee benefits, human resources and payroll products and services, today announced the appointment of David Taaffe as regional vice president of California, benefits sales, and national head of Account Services Division.

In this role, Taaffe will be based in California and will be responsible for leading the California benefits sales team. Additionally, as the national head of Account Services Division, Taaffe will provide resources to agencies that seek additional customer support beyond traditional general agency model.

Rounding out his benefits expertise, Taaffe began his career as an underwriter on the East Coast before transitioning to sales. Throughout the following years, he managed groups sales for Aetna, PacifiCare and Prudential in multiple markets across the country. While working at Aetna, he held multiple sale leadership positions and helped the company achieve leading results in their West Coast markets.

Prior to joining BenefitMall, Taaffe was the senior vice president of business development at LifeMap. In this specific role, he assisted the pacific northwest ancillary insurance company in entering the California and Arizona marketplace.
