Dave Tartaglia is the Managing Consultant for the Self Funded Division at BenefitMall, where he leads a team of financial, clinical, and technical experts. His role focuses on all facets of self-funding, with a particular emphasis on risk mitigation and stop-loss management. Drawing on over 30 years of experience in employer health plan design and implementation, Tartaglia provides essential insights and strategic guidance to brokers navigating the complexities of health plan management.
Before joining BenefitMall, Tartaglia served as Vice President of Large Group Sales and Sales Support for the largest health insurer and TPA in the Mid-Atlantic. In this role, he managed support for over 400 self-funded employers, 1.8 million members, and the broker distribution network servicing this extensive population. His deep experience has established him as a trusted and respected advisor within the broker community and among the employers he has served.
Based in Maryland, Tartaglia is a graduate of the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University in Maryland.
