Roni Jernigan joined BenefitMall in 2008 during the acquisition of BenefitPort Southwest and currently serves as Director, Individual and Senior Division. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, and sales nationally for individual family plans and senior products.
Previously, Jernigan served as Vice President of Sales and Operations at BenefitPort Southwest, capping a 19-year career with the company. He began his career with Principal, where he was responsible for group and individual sales and service.
Jernigan earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University. A dedicated industry professional, he is a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), Texas Association of Health Underwriters (TAHU), and Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters (FWAHU). Outside of the office, Jernigan enjoys woodworking and can often be found tinkering with anything mechanical. He and his wife Diane have three daughters and three granddaughters.
