Available since 1990, Seniors Choice is a group health program that helps employers cut costs and keep actively working and/or retired eligible employees covered, depending on the size of the group. It can also reduce or even eliminate FASB 106 liability for self-funded groups. Most noteworthy about the Seniors Choice Program is its flexibility in filling the gaps of Medicare with various plan options typically not available to eligible beneficiaries. This plan features discount drug coverage, with an optional fully insured prescription benefit. Plans are fully insured and underwritten Guarantee Trust Life and administered Gilsbar.
